T-Juice Explains: How To Get More Vapour Out Of Your Kit
"Generating vapour doesn’t happen by accident. If you’re wondering why your vape is releasing less vapour than that cloud chaser next to you and you’d like to give it a try, we’ve got together a few tips.

High VG

First things first - your e-liquids. If more vapour is appealing to you, then you’ll need an e-liquid with a higher ratio of VG. VG is the thicker of the two diluents used in e-liquids, which helps create thicker vapour when heated. Our Shortfill products have a VG/PG ratio of 60/40 and are a great place to start. If you’re looking for an even higher VG ratio, you could even start DIYing your own e-liquids, which is a great way to get the exact VG/PG ratio that’s right for you.

Inhaling technique

There are two different methods of inhaling when you vaping, and each will affect the amount of vapour you exhale. When you ‘mouth-to-lung’ (MTL) inhale, you first take the vapour into your mouth before taking another breath to get the vapour into your lungs – similar to how you would have smoked a cigarette. ‘Direct-to-lung’ (DTL) inhaling involves taking a much deeper inhale, which brings the vapour straight into your lungs. DTL inhaling will help you get more vapour, as you’re pulling more air through your coil – just make sure your device specifies that it’s suitable for DTL first.

More power, more clouds

Playing around with your settings is a must if you’re going to experiment with bigger clouds of vapour. Generally speaking, more power will usually lead to more vapour - but you’ll need to make sure your coil can handle the wattage first. A powerful device coupled with a low resistance coil, otherwise known as sub-ohm vaping, is often the best option for producing more vapour, but beware - e-liquids with a nicotine strength of more than 6mg will feel quite harsh when sub-ohming, so these devices aren’t usually a good starting point for new switchers. Find a balance that suits you and stick by it to get the most out of your vaping experience.   Whilst it’s great to experiment with creating more vapour, don’t worry if it isn’t right for you. There are lots of different ways to vape, and the key is to find the one that works for you. Remember, every day you spend vaping instead of smoking can only be a positive."
